Bhavisha was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand in 2009 where she practiced in Wellington, New Zealand for nearly three years.
She then immigrated to Australia and since 2012 has worked with Mark Graham, specialising in Family Law.
In 2021 she became co-Director with Mark Graham and since 2023, she has been the Principal and Director of Graham & Shah Solicitors.
She is committed to providing the best possible service to her clients with a pragmatic and empathic approach whilst catering for their individual needs.
Outside of the law, she enjoys swimming, baking and adventures with her husband and two children. She is fluent in Gujarati and Swahili and enjoys a good chat about food and travel.

Mark Graham worked as a law clerk for numerous Newcastle law firms whilst completing his legal studies part-time at Macquarie University.
He was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1981 and has been in continuous practice as a solicitor in Newcastle since then. ​In 1994 he was accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales as a specialist in Family Law.

In December 2025, Mark Graham retired from full-time practice as a lawyer. He continues as a Consultant with Graham & Shah to assist with the resolution of a number of client matters and to be available to the firm.
​
Outside of the law, his principal area of interest is yacht racing and has been involved in competitive sailing for 55 years. He races on Lake Macquarie together with various long distance ocean races off the east coast of Australia and yachting regattas in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Brianna has worked exclusively in family law with Graham & Shah Solicitors for over two years, and recently completed her Bachelor of Laws, achieving first-class honours. Brianna has worked closely with Bhavisha and Mark on a variety of parenting and financial matters. Brianna is passionate about providing practical and compassionate support to clients.
Outside of family law, Brianna has undertaken experience with the University of Newcastle Legal Centre, a community legal service, where she has assisted with criminal matters and estate law. During her studies, Brianna has also provided research assistance to the Office of the Ombudsman (Human Rights Unit) of Samoa.
Beyond her passion for the law, Brianna's personal interests include music, snow sports and tennis.

Nerish began working with Graham & Shah Solicitors in 2020 and has been an essential fixture in the firm since.
She is friendly and organised and is often the first point of contact for clients.
